On the palindromic zl-factorization and c-factorization of the generalized period-doubling sequences
Moussa Barro, K. Ernest Bognini, Idrissa Kaboré
In this paper, we study period-doubling sequences over an ordered alphabet of size q ≥ 2. We present properties of these words relative to the structure of their palindromic factors. The explicit formulas of the palindromic Ziv-Lempel factorization and the palindromic Crochemore factorization based on the combinatorial structure of infinite se(...)

C^n-pseudo almost automorphic solutions of class r for neutral partial functional differential equations under the light of measure theory
Micailou NAPO, Issa ZABSONRE, Gilbert BAYILI
The aim of this work is to present new approach to study C^n pseudo almost automorphic solutions of class r for some neutral partial functional dierential equations in a Banach space when the delay is distributed. We use the variation of constants formula and the spectral decomposition of the phase space.

BACKGROUND: Despite the negative impact of unsafe abortions on women's health and rights, the degree of abortion safety remains strikingly undocumented for a large share of abortions globally. Data on how women induce abortions (method, setting, provider) are central to the measurement of abortion safety. However, health-facility statistics an(...)

Incomplete Situs Inversus Revealed by Acute Pain of the Right Hypochondrium
Alice Nanelin Guingané, Julien Sawadogo, Adjirata Koama, Bénilde Marie-Ange Tiemtoré-Kambou, Roger Sombié, Alain Bougouma
Situs inversus is an abnormal placement of the thoracic and/or abdominal organs that are inverted right/left from normal. It is a rare congenital malformation often discovered in childhood. In adults, it can lead to misdiagnosis. Clinical case: A 35-year-old female patient, seen in a hepatogastroenterology consultation for acute spontaneous pa(...)

Influence of the Fermentative Flora on the Carbohydrate content of Sorghum Grains
Goubgou Mahamadé, Fabrice Bationo, Nébié Sibiri, Hama Cissé, Songré-Ouattara T Laurencia, Yves Traoré, Aly Savadogo
Microbial fermentation activates many endogenous enzymes that help improve the nutritional value of cereals. The present study aimed to determine the effect of the fermentation flora on the carbohydrate content of hulled and non-hulled sorghum grains fermented for 72 hours. The fermentation process, the enumeration of the total mesophilic aero(...)

Detection of Falsified Antimalarial Sulfadoxine‐Pyrimethamine and Dihydroartemisinin‐Piperaquine Drugs Using a Low‐Cost Handheld Near‐Infrared Spectrometer
Moussa Yabré, Abdoul Karim Sakira, Moumouni Bandé, Bertrand W. F. Goumbri, Sandrine M. Ouattara, Souleymane Fofana, Touridomon Issa Somé
Falsified drugs are of serious concern to public health worldwide, particularly for developing countries where quality control of drugs is inefficient. In law enforcement against such fake medicines, there is a need to develop reliable, fast, and inexpensive screening methods. In this work, the ability of an innovative low-cost handheld near-i(...)

Effects of supercritical carbon dioxide under conditions potentially conducive to sterilization on physicochemical characteristics of a liposome formulation containing apigenin
Kouka Luc Delma, Noémie Penoy, Bruno Grignard, Rasmané Semdé, Brigitte Evrard, Géraldine Piel
In this work, the effects of four supercritical carbon dioxide (ScCO2) conditions potentially conductive to sterilization,
on physicochemical characteristics of a liposome formulation containing apigenin (AG) were investigated.
These conditions were: C1 (ScCO2/70 ◦C/150 bar/240 min), C2 (ScCO2/0.25% water/ 0.15% H2O2)/
0.5% acetic anhydride(...)

Its association with pulmonary embolism is exceptional and produces a real therapeutic dilemma. We are discussing the case of a 67-year-old male patient who presented with paraplegia with infectious syndrome. The chest X-ray performed to screen for an infectious site led to the suspicion of an aortic aneurysm and the CT angiography showed Stan(...)

The SD Bioline Dengue Duo rapid diagnostic test is the primary means of diagnostic guidance for dengue and in many cases the only one in Burkina Faso. Our objective was to evaluate the performance of this test during the 2017 dengue epidemic. By analysing data from samples during the 2017 dengue epidemic in Burkina Faso for which both rapid te(...)

A previously unpublished pediatric anesthesia circuit is presented here. It was invented and constructed by Dr
Bernard-François Gribomont (hence called BFG circuit) around 1965 as a response to the important pediatric
case load in the university hospital of Lovanium, near Leopoldville (now Kinshasa, DRC). The original objective
was to find(...)
