Résumé
Our study involves characterizing the thermo-physical parameters of materials found in habitats, to understand their degradation mechanisms. It has shown that the mechanical and physical properties of wood are dependent on many factors such as density or heat source, which can be influential and easier or harder to quantify. Bete, red and white wood respectively show better results in terms of strength. The results of calorimeter cone tests show that there is a difference in elemental composition and morphology, with white wood appearing to be less rigid than the other types.
