Aedes Mosquitoes and Aedes-Borne Arboviruses in Africa: Current and Future Threats
A. BADOLO
The Zika crisis drew attention to the long-overlooked problem of arboviruses transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes in Africa. Yellow fever, dengue, chikungunya and Zika are poorly controlled in Africa and often go unrecognized. However, to combat these diseases, both in Africa and worldwide, it is crucial that this situation changes. Here, we review(...)

The Effect of Atmospheric Oxygen on the Puffing and Bursting Phenomena during Vegetable Oils Droplets Vaporization Process for Their Use as Biofuel in Diesel Engine
Zongo, A.S., Daho, T., Vaitilingom, G., Piriou, B., Valette, J., Caillol, C., Segda, B.G., Higelin, P. and Koulidiati, J
The past literature on the use of vegetable oils as fuel in diesel engine revealed that utilizing vegetable oil fuels in diesel engines may require property changes in the oil or perhaps, some minor engine modifications or operating changes. This study was conducted to search for the effect of atmospheric oxygen on the puffing and bursting phe(...)

Numerical Characterization of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Solar Cells Using Capacitance-Voltage and Capacitance-Frequency Characteristics
Daouda Oubda, Marcel B. Kebre, Soumaïla Ouédraogo, François Zougmoré, Frédéric Ouattara, Zacharie Koalga
The paper presents the effects of buffer layer thickness, operating temperature, and series resistances on the capacitancevoltage and capacitance-frequency (C-f) characteristics of the standard ZnO/CdS/OVC/Cu(In,Ga)Se2/Mo thin film solar cells.
The numerical simulation tool used is a one dimensional program: Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator ((...)

Resolution of isolated syringomyelia after removing thoracic disc herniation
EL OUADIH Youssef, COLL Guillaume, HARO Yakouba, CHAIX Remi
Syringomyelia is an abnormal cystic dilatation of the spinal cord caused by excessive accumulation of CSF (cerebrospinal fluid). The pathophysiology remains complex and unelucidated. We report a rare case of resolution of cervico-thoracic syringomyelia after thoracic disc excision in a 3 months follow-up time.

Background
The presence of HBV DNA in the liver (with detectable or undetectable HBV DNA in the serum) of individuals tested HBsAg negative by currently available assays is defined occult B Infection (OBI). It remains a potential transmission threat and risk to HBV chronic infection. The purpose of this study was to determine the OBI prevalen(...)
