Deterministic and Stochastic Schistosomiasis Models with General Incidence
S. Ouaro, A. Traoré
In this paper, deterministic and stochastic models for schistosomiasis involving four sub-populations are developed. Conditions are given under which system exhibits thresholds behavior. The disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R0 < 1 and the unique endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable when R0 > 1. The(...)

Molecular characterization of genetic diversity within the Africa/Middle East/Asia Minor and SubSaharan African groups of the Bemisia tabaci species complex
Helene Henria, Gabriel Terraza, Olivier Gnankineb, Frederic Fleurya and Laurence Moutona
BBemisia tabaci Gennadius is a major plant pest in many agricultural systems worldwide. It is a complex of cryptic species
that differ in many ecological respects, including damage-causing potential. Monitoring the genetic composition of B.
tabaci populations in the field is, therefore, essential for achieving effective control. Sequencing i(...)

Hermann ILBOUDO*, Saga SAWADOGO, Seta NABA, Abraham Seydoux TRAORE& Martin LOMPO

H. BAZIE
Agroforestry parklands are the most widespread production systems across Burkina Faso and the Sahel, with key species being Vitellaria paradoxa and Parkia biglobosa. The overall aim of the research was to contribute to a better understanding of the interactions in the tree-crop associations, and the impact of Vitellaria paradoxa parklands on t(...)

Ibrahim H. Gado, Salifou K. Ouiminga, Tizane Daho, Arsène H. Yonli, Moussa Sougoti, Jean Koulidiati .
This study concerns the experimental characterization and compaction of paper/cardboard coming from waste of the city of Ouagadougou. The characterization results show that the category of waste of paper and cardboard encountered in Ouagadougou contains 39 % corrugated cardboard, 28 % of office paper, 18 % of non-corrugated cardboard, 7 % of n(...)

Loyapin BONDÉ, Oumarou OUÉDRAOGO, François KAGAMBÈGA, Joseph I. BOUSSIM.

Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions of class r for Some Neutral Partial Functional Differential Equations
Khalil Ezzinbi, Hamidou Toure, Issa Zabsonre
The aim of this work is to investigate the existence and uniqueness of pseudo almost periodic solutions of class r for some neutral partial functional differential equations in a Banach space when the delay is distributed using the variation of constants formula and the spectral decomposition of the phase space developed in Adimy et al. (Can A(...)

RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN SOIL MICROBIAL BIOMASS, AGGREGATE STABILITY AND AGGREGATE ASSOCIATED-C: A MECHANISTIC APPROACH
Patrizia Guidi, Gloria Falsone, Mare Boussa Tockville, Gilmo Vianello
For the identification of C pools involved in soil aggregation, a physically-based aggregate fractionation was proposed, and additional pretreatments were used in the measurement of the 1-2 mm aggregate stability in order to elucidate the relevance of the role of soil microorganisms with respect to the different aggregate breakdown mechanisms.(...)

Marou Gourouza , Ibrahim Natatou, Karifa Bayo , Anne Boos

The careHPV and HC2 assays were compared for high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) DNA detection in cervical samples from 149 HIV-1-infected African women. The HR-HPV DNA detection rates were 37.6% and 34.9% for careHPV and HC2, respectively. Agreement between the two tests was 94.6% (95% confidence interval [CI], 89.7% to 97.7%) with a kapp(...)
